"You read" means getting/understanding something without saying much.
For example, I see a man dressed in his Sunday's best walking down the street and say, "you read?"

Implies that if you create a difficult situation for someone, you too have to deal with that situation

"Pomp it" means to match (wear the same or similar clothing) in Liberia. So if we have to pomp it, we will need to buy the same lappa to wear.
